Easy Beach Shuttle Program

Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is launching the Easy Beach Shuttle Program to help encourage more people to park and ride in Virgin Islands National Park. Ideally, this will help ease some of the parking congestion at our beaches and provide useful information and data for future transportation solutions.

The pilot transportation program operates from December 22, 2024 to May 30, 2025, during which time visitors can park for free at Caneel Bay Lot A and taxi to Trunk Bay Beach or any of the other popular North Shore beaches.

Easy Beach Shuttle Park 'n Ride in the Park

• Shuttles departing Caneel are scheduled for:

  • 9:00 a.m.

  • 11:00 a.m.

  • 1:00 p.m.

  • or you can catch any safari bus/taxi passing by. Should you need it, the taxi dispatch number is (340) 693-7530.
    

• Safari buses/taxis run regularly up and down North Shore until 5 p.m. so get a ride back to Caneel at a time that works for you.
  

• Safari bus/taxi shuttle rides in each direction cost from $6-12 per person depending on destination.
