Have you been thinking about visiting Honeymoon (or Soloman) Beach while you're on St. John? Things are a little complicated.
VI Ecotours had been running a shuttle dingy between Cruz Bay and Honeymoon Beach. This is no more.
However, you can still visit these beaches (still with an assist from VI Ecotours) by heading to the main entrance at Caneel Bay. You can't walk through the grounds – there's cleanup work happening and you're a liability. You can jump on a VI Ecotours golf cart once you're there for just $10 roundtrip. (This is the only way to get to Honeymoon and Soloman from Caneel’s main entrance.)
The golf cart shuttle runs continuously through the day.
