If you're looking for another ferry option from St. Thomas to St. John, there's a new one up and running! This ferry runs from Cruz Bay, St. John to Crown Bay Marina, St. Thomas. That drop off on St. Thomas is just 5 minutes from the airport! Now you can take your pick of a longer ferry ride (approximately 35 minutes), or a longer taxi ride to the Red Hook ferry.
Inter Island Boat Services operates this ferry which departs Crown Bay daily at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. It departs Cruz Bay daily at 11 am and 4:15 pm. Pick up this ferry beside the Virgin Islands Visitor Center at what is called the "creek". The cost is $20 per person with each bags costing $5. Children 12 & under are $10. Seniors 62 & over are $15.
