This past February 2017 guest from Michigan graciously shared their thoughts on Andante via TripAdvisor. We always love to hear when our guests take pleasure in all of the special little things that we feel make Andante such a magical place. It is especially wonderful when our guests find unique activities we haven’t tried as yet, such as dancing under the stars! That is one we will definitely try when we return!
"We started looking for a place on St. John a year prior to our trip. Three couples, all dear friends, looking for a get away. Andante is everything it says.
The road to the villa is rough, but very "doable" in jeeps. We had no problem parking and maneuvering two jeeps.
The kitchen is amazing with every available appliance and utensil. We actually all love to cook and we ate at the villa most nights. We loved the grill, but cooked several different fish in the oven. Eating on the deck was perfect with that amazing breeze.
The first morning we arrived there was a brief rain followed by a double rainbow that seemed to touch down on the deck. It was a perfect start to the week.
We were all pleased with our private bedrooms and baths. The outdoor shower was perfect after a dip in the pool/hot tub or after we returned from our days exploring the beautiful island. I would only recommend the hike down the path to the water if you have energy, and be sure to wear appropriate attire. That being said, the snorkeling was really good at Hart Bay! The sound system on the deck was great and we had many nights dancing on the deck.
