St. John is a paradise for those who love the water. There is no shortage of water activities for you to choose from including: fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, power boat charters, sail boat charters, scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming.
Fishing
Deep sea fishing is a fun way to spend the day. Many captains will even fillet the fish for you to take back to the villa to grill. Whether you are a first-time fisherman or experienced sport fishing enthusiast, you're sure to find adventure on the Caribbean Sea. A typical trip might have you catching Tuna, Mahi, Barracuda, or Wahoo. Head out fishing on a half-day or full-day trip to catch some fresh seafood for you to grill up at our villa, or maybe even ask a local chef to make your vacation party dinner straight off the boat.
Kayaking
Kayaking around St. John can be amazingly beautiful. Rent equipment on the island (try Beach Bums, conveniently located at the ferry dock in Cruz Bay). They offer guided tours including lighted night kayak tours and snorkeling with turtles. Another option is Arawak Expeditions. They have great reviews on TripAdvisor, too!
Paddle Boarding (SUP)
Try stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) while on St. John. You can rent a paddle board by the day or for the entire week. Often your board can be brought right to the villa for you. Debating? Many people say that getting paddle boards is a must. It will change your experience and give you a whole new vantage point of the water wild life.
Power Boat & Sail Boat Charters
There are lots of power and sail boat charter options. Pick the one that best suits your needs for size, pricing, and speed. Book in advance to ensure you will get out on the water. Here's a link for you on TripAdvisor to help with your decision.
